Using Automatic Ticketing

To enable automatic Jira ticketing for a Collection, head to Collection > Settings > Ticketing, select Jira, and choose Automatic as the Trigger Mode.

This is how automatic ticketing works on Slack:

  1. As soon as the request is sent, a threaded message is posted as a reply, inviting the user to file a Jira issue.

  2. Click on Click to file JIRA issue to proceed. This will open a modal.

  3. Select the project and issue type, and fill any required details.

  4. Click on File Issue to convert the request into a Jira issue.

  5. A success message, having the Jira issue's title, ID, link, and backward-synced Status, will be posted in the request's thread.
