ClearFeed has a robust integration with GitHub that allows agents and responders to file GitHub issues against requests.
Integrate GitHub
You will need to be the GitHub organization admin to approve this access.
You can integrate GitHub by heading over to the Account settings →Integrations tab→ GitHub.
Press the
Connect
button against the GitHub sectionYou will be redirected to the GitHub login page, where you’ll need to log in and install the ClearFeed App.
You can select the app to be installed in all repositories or select specific repositories where it will be installed. (Note - if installed to specific repositories, only these repositories will be available to file GitHub issues).
Once the above steps are completed - ClearFeed's App will be installed into the GitHub organization account and you will be redirected to the ClearFeed web app to finish the setup.

Installing the ClearFeed App directly from the GitHub Marketplace
ClearFeed App can be installed from the GitHub Marketplace and post-installation, the integration can be completed.
Follow the link to get the ClearFeed app on GitHub Marketplace.
Click on Set up a plan.

Enter account and installation details > click on Complete order and begin installation.

Once the installation is complete, you will be redirected to the ClearFeed Web App.
Upon redirect, login to the ClearFeed Web App (if not logged in already) and you should get a success message that indicates that integration is completed.
Escalating to GitHub
If you're using ClearFeed as a native helpdesk but want to escalate issues to GitHub, follow the guide below:

When requests are turned into GitHub issues, details are sent back to the requester in a designated ticket message block on the request channel.
The screens section lets you completely disable the ticket message by toggling off Screens. This would mean that whenever GitHub issue is created, users will not see any confirmation message and details.
To configure the ticket message for GitHub, follow the steps given below:
Go to Forms on the web app
Under the ticketing drop-down, select
GitHub Ticketing
.Select
Screens
from the tabs mentioned under GitHub Ticketing.
Fields
Status - By default, the Status of the GitHub ticket is always shown to the requester. This cannot be configured to be hidden.
Ticket URL - Allows you to show or hide the GitHub issue URL to the requestor.
Title- The title of the GitHub issue can be shown to the requester using this field.
Actions
Unlink Ticket button: This button allows users to unlink a ticket from its associated request in the Request Channel. By default, it is visible only to responders in the channel. Check the option to display the Unlink Ticket
button on the ticket message block.
