Connect Guru and index cards from selected collections

ClearFeed indexes Guru cards so AI Agents can use them to answer questions. You can index all collections available to a Guru user or limit a Knowledge Source to selected collections.

Connect Guru

Before adding a Guru Knowledge Source, connect the integration:

1. In Guru, create a User Token. You need Guru Admin access or a custom role with Manage Apps & Integrations permission. See Generate a User Token in the Guru documentation.

2. In the ClearFeed web app, go to Settings > Integrations.

3. Find Guru and click Connect.

4. Enter the Guru account email associated with the User Token.

5. Enter the User Token as the API key.

6. Click Connect.

The User Token uses the permissions of the Guru user for whom it is generated. ClearFeed validates the credentials and lists the collections that user can access.

Use a Guru User Token. Guru Collection Tokens are not supported for this integration.

Add a Guru Knowledge Source

1. In the ClearFeed web app, go to AI > Knowledge Sources.

2. Click Add Knowledge Source and select Guru.

3. Configure the Knowledge Source:

   • Name: Enter a name to display in ClearFeed.

   • Tags: Add tags to organize the Knowledge Source and connect it to AI Agents.

   • Collections: Select the Guru collections to index. Leave this field empty to index all collections available to the connected Guru user.

   • Auto Reindex Regularly: Enable this option to reindex the Knowledge Source every 24 hours.

4. Click Add.

The Knowledge Source starts indexing immediately or enters the indexing queue. Its status changes to In Progress or Initiated.

Update or reindex the Knowledge Source

Edit the Knowledge Source to change its name, tags, collection scope, or automatic reindexing setting. Changing the selected collections triggers a new index.

To refresh the current content manually, use Reindex on the Knowledge Source. See Manage Knowledge Sources for indexing statuses and management actions.
